Telescope made by Newton & Co., who were known for making astronomical instruments in the 19th century.

Instruments from established manufacturers such as Newton & Co. they were often noted for their optical quality and craftsmanship, contributing to their popularity among astronomers.

A telescope is an optical instrument designed to observe distant objects by collecting and magnifying light. It allows users to see celestial bodies, landscapes and other distant phenomena in greater detail than the naked eye can provide.

Each telescope has the converging objective system, (which can be a simple or compound lens or concave mirror), through which the actual image of the observed bodies passes, and the eyepiece system (converging or diverging) that forms the imaginary image of the object we see.
